No need to be concerned about trucks driving over your yard or tearing down fences. All shed components are manually carried through your gate to the build location. Your shed will be constructed on-site within a matter of 1-5 days. We’ll finish by completely cleaning up our the build site.
Tuff Block Footings
We level your shed using Tuff Blocks making sure the base does not directly come in contact with the ground. Thus, years of service are guaranteed without rot or insect damage. These not only give your shed a cleaner look than concrete blocks but they are incredibly strong.
2x6 Floor Joists 16" OC and 3/4" LP Legacy Subfloor Sheathing
2×6 floor joists spaced 16 inches apart provide a strong foundation that can support heavy loads and resist deflection. LP Legacy subfloor sheathing is a high-performance engineered wood product that offers excellent strength, stiffness, and moisture resistance. When used together, 2×6 floor joists and LP Legacy subfloor sheathing create a durable and long-lasting floor system that can withstand the rigors of daily use and resist moisture, pests, and other environmental factors.
2x4 Wall Construction
We frame all of our walls with top-choice kiln-dried whitewood 2×4 wall studs, spaced at 24 inches on center, with double top plates. This ensures that our buildings are sturdy, reliable, and able to withstand the rigors of daily use.
For larger sheds or structures that require additional strength and support, we use 2×4 wall studs spaced 16 inches on center. This upgrade is available for all of our sheds and can provide extra peace of mind for customers who need a particularly robust building.
Standard 7 Ft. Wall Height
The wall height of our gable-style sheds is 6ft 11 in. from floor to top of the 2×4 wall double top plate. Additional height can be added, this can be found on the Upgrades page.
LP Smartside Wall Panels
We sheath our shed walls with LP Smartside sheathing, which resists water and prevents moisture damage. The standard shed wall color is tan. All sheds can be painted for an additional charge.
Lifetime (30 year) Architectural Shingles
We only use algae-resistant laminated shingles, which are rated for 30 years or more, in your choice of five popular colors. Compared to the conventional 3-tab shingles that many builders use, they are thicker, offer more reliable weather protection, and last up to three times longer.
4" Roof Overhangs
4″ overhangs are built around the roof of your shed. They are covered with an aluminum drip edge. This helps shed water from your roof and helps keep your shed dry in rainy weather.
Door Hardware
Our sheds come with heavy-duty door hinges, barrel bolt locks, and a locking tee handle to help keep your shed’s contents safe and secure. Hook and eye latches are added to help keep your doors open when accessing your shed.
Maintenance Free PVC Trim
The first thing that deteriorates on an old shed is the trim boards. We eliminate this by only using PVC trim boards. They never need to be painted and they will never rot. LP Smartside trim can be subbed out and painted your choice of color as an upgrade.
Ridge Vents
Ridge vents come standard on all of our sheds. It allows for airflow and moisture management to prevent mold growth and rot. When combined with our tempered glass screened windows, it provides nice cross-ventilation as heat rises.
Rain Drip Guard
We add Rain Drip Guards to all of our sheds to help keep water out of your shed. Wind-driven rain can force its way in and damage your belongings, these help prevent this from happening.
Hook and Eye Latches
Wind can be a hindrance when you are accessing your shed. If you have your hands full and it blows the door closed it can be a huge pain. We add hook and eye latches to our sheds to hold the doors open for you. We believe these small items bring huge value.
Sill Nose Threshold
We can improve the durability of your shed by installing a sill nose threshold, which provides optimal protection. These thresholds fortify the exterior edge of your door sill, shielding it from wear and tear caused by frequent use and exposure to the elements. This helps to ensure the longevity of your shed and maintain its integrity by protecting it against potential damage.
